Reflecting back on the 2011 Pylon racing season, my first full season of air-racing with the WC Flyers Club.  I'm truly surprised at how challenging, but also how much fun, it was.  The WCF Club is a great group of guys and those who participate in the Pylon Racing events each month really make it a great experience.
 
I can't encourage our local pilots enough to give Pylon Racing a try.  Sure we've all flown fast planes.  Sure, we've all flown close to the ground.  Sure, we've all made bank and yank style turns ....  But, there's something about putting it all together while racing 3 other planes, that sets this apart!

There are new classes, and new challenges ahead for 2012.  I'm looking forward to the fun and camaraderie, I hope to see you out there as well.
